“As a victim or witness of a crime committed in Tuolumne County, you may feel forgotten, neglected or ignored by the criminal justice system. There is, however, a unit within the District Attorney's Office which will help you with your special concerns and needs. It is the Victim/Witness Assistance Center and it offers many helpful services to you. Many resources are available to you through the Victim/Witness Assistance Center. Victim/witness advocates and other staff are caring and supportive.
