Our goal is to provide responsive and immediate service to victims, claimants, providers, advocates and other stakeholders of the California Victim Compensation Program.
Helpline representatives provide important information throughout the processing of claims, including assisting callers with questions regarding program eligibility, the status of bills, appeal options and other complex issues.
The Helpline is not the only resource dedicated to answering your questions and solving your problems. To further help crime victims who may need more comprehensive assistance with their claims, the Helpline representatives team up with CalVCP staff.

Helpline representatives make it a priority to give service providers the information and assistance they need. We can provide you with an online Application/Bill Status Request Form or downloadable form to request the status of applications or bills that have been submitted to the Victim Compensation Program.
